head liner

has anyone removed a head liner? i need to take mine down cause i have a really bad vibrating in the roof, i think it is a roof brace popped its spot welds, is it hard to do and has anyone got any tips on removing pillar plastics ect

na its easy enough to do mate. Just take all the plastics off that are around it, other than the screws holding the grab handles, and the rear seat belt mount points, they just pull off. Then its just a case of taking the liner down.

Be careful, take your time and you'll be reet. Did one on a mk2 golf, the sunroof was the worst of it.

do the plastics come off easy i was worried about snapping little plastics clips or whatever holds them on

I have just removed a headlining.
Easy enough to do however you may snap a few cloips off in the process.

did it still all go back together after you broke some clips cause thats whats stopping me from doing it at the mo

I did one on a Mk4 Golf recently. As said above, the worst bit is the sunroof if you have one. You should be okay with the clips, just take it easy with them!

I won,t be putting it back in my car !
It has been stripped for the track
