Head unit in centre vents

I'm looking to put a headunit in my centre vents above the climate control screen etc. Just wondering what is needed to be done exactly?

I guess i'll need to block off those vents somehow so it doesn't heat up the back of the head unit when in place? also where's the best place to run the cables?

Any pics of this done previously would be good.

it will have to go in horizontally, even my guages in there are fouling the switchs.

Got my headunit console for sale if interested?

Looking for £55 + £10 P&P

Complete replacement for bottom bit below middle console,

I've also got the loom connection I used so on the back of the existing radio unit you've 3 connections.

You'd plug the middle brown one (the speakers) into the headunit block and thats your sound.

The bottom connection gets replaced with the new loom which basically splits into 2. That way you've power still going to the normal unit for all your climate control etc and power going to headunit.

I had this in for last 6 months without any issues. Reason for sale on this is car is going fairly standard before I sell.
