Got these new bulbs arrive today as one of my old Philips eXtreme vision bulbs went at the start of the week. Just trying to figure out how to adjust the height of the main beam. I see a hex adjuster on the top of the back of the headlamp, but not sure if that is for height adjustment and if it is, which way is up and which way adjusts down please?

Actually adjusting the headlight beam height is fairly straight forward procedure. However, if you want to do it properly then it is more involved than just twiddling the adjustment screws in the headlight housing and trying to guess the right height.

This is the extract from the workshop manual on how to make the adjustments. Make sure the electric height adjustment switch inside the car is set to zero before doing this...
