Hiya fitted my HIDs at the weekend and was wondering what setting is best to ensure oncoming traffic isn't dazzled. I understand that as you move up from 0 to setting 2 you lose coverage/beam length. This is obviously for when your car has more passengers and load etc. But we are obviously doing it to lower the beam so we dont dazzle drivers. I have mine on 1 at moment as on 0 I noticed a few people adjusting their mirror to anti glare position!

So what setting is best guys?

I've got mine set to 0 (zero) - just pop down to your friendly MOT dude, and get him to check the beam patten & height to make sure...only time i change is when the car is loaded up.

0 should be fine if your headlights are aligned properly, but otherwise just use 1. You can set it in between numbers though... so half way between 0 and 1 would take them down just a little.

Get the garage to align the lamps to 1-% as normal HIDs headlamps are set this way from the factory, then you don't need to readjust them every time.
