Headlight replacement

I’m new to to doing car repairs diy, I tried changing my headlight today as I bought a new one. The old ones drl stopped working.

I couldn’t even take the side of the bumper off, I’ve got all the tools etc but I didnt get anywhere. 4 hours wasted.

do you have to get the whole bumper off to remove the headlight?

if so how do you do it ?

lol that’s the video I watched, turns out there was an extra screw the previous owner had placed near the wing arch when replacing the bumper.

managed to get the bumper off and replace the headlight and thankfully it works !

unfortunately today i've met with another issue, bonnet release handle is broken, its gone limp. any idea on how to open the bonnet. it wont open
