Headlights haze on glass

I tried it on one of my lights so far using various grit wet & dry attached to a drill. Took me the best part of 3 hours on one light. And it's largely worked a treat. I'd definitely take a bit more time stepping up between grits to ensure there are no scratches left behind.

I treated it with Meguiars Headlight Coating as I heard that's a good cheap coating that will stop this happening again. I also bought PPF film for the headlights from https://chronlakier.pl/ which I understand is a good UV protector of the headlights.

Just want to inform you all that this problemen is 100% fixable. Its inside the uv coating and not on the inside of the headlight. Just got it solved by someone who knows what he is doing. You need to sand it all the way passed the cracks and Polish it. A new uv protection is needed after. Pm me if you want a video of the process with the result.

Hello - yes a video would be very useful, thank you. I can’t imagine there are too many products available for the UV protection, that information would also be gratefully received.

One thing I have seen for the UV Protection is to put on a very mild dark tint on the front lights.

Not for everybody but i have seen it does provide some protection.

I did the uv protection part by letting a certified company putting ppf foil. This is the only permanent solution as far as I know. Unfortunately I don't know how to upload the video here.
