Hi guys, I have a question regarding the heated mirrors. Are they electrically heated or they use hot air? I am asking that because I am wondering whether I can keep the mirror knob in the heating position or it would lead to electrical consumption? Also, in the manual it is written that there is an additional heating/defrost of the windscreen in the area of the wipers which is activated by turning the mirror knob in heating position as above (an option which I am not sure if I have? there was no such option in my dealer's catalog, maybe it's there if you have the heated mirrors?) So, the same question for that - is this an additional electric heating of the windscreen or what? The manual is very uninformative about everything :(

P.S. And sorry for my English, I am from Bulgaria :)

Heated mirrors are electrically heated as far as I can tell, you can see the element. As for the other question I don't know the answer to that one...

The heated mirrors switch on when the switch is in the central position with the picture of a heated mirror and will conatantly be heating, not sure if it has a timer cutout, I would recommend that it is kept in either left or right mirror adjustment unless you need to defrost your mirrors. It will use electricity but I doubt it would be excessive. Stiil best off really you don`t want to potentially burn them out/wear them out.
The heated wiper/bits that heat up the area where the" wipers park"only and is only with the winter pack option, where you would also have heated seats and headlamp washers. Correct me if I am wrong as i don`t have winter pack?/
