Hi everyone!
Let me introduce myself: I´m Lionsio from México and I drive a 2003 Leon Sport 1.8T 20V with some modifications.
I want to ask for your help:
I just get a pair of Porsche 911 2000 4 piston front calipers from a good friend of mine, and I want to install this calipers on my Leon. I know this calipers are designed for a 312 mm disc. The issue here is I only have the calipers, I need to get all the mounting hardware, so my question is: what exactly do I need in order to mount those calipers in my Leon.
I know I need the pads and the brake lines, but I am not sure the type of mountings required to install it on my Leon. Some people has told me, I do not need special mount, others says I will need a special or custom support and some screws.
Also I has been told that I would have to replace my OEM discs for a bigger ones (328mm), but as far as I know my car use the same size brake disc as the TT: 312 mm and the calipers are designed to fit that size.
I really appreciate your inputs and comments on this issue.
Cheers!!
