Seems a bit strange that the lamba was faulty yet it was still boosting up fine most of the time tho doesnt it? Before the lamba was changed the car stunk of fuel but now the smell has gone so im assuming the new one must be working, no one with VAG but I will plug it back in on my mates snap on diagnostics monday evening and see what ive got now. The only other thing I can think of is split/missing boost or vacum hoses, could this be a possibility? Also theree are two little sensors cable tied to the rocker cover, the one on the right is plugged in but doesnt have any pipes going to it and the one on the left is plugged in and has a vacum pipe with a non return valve in line. Is this usual?

The lambda is only referenced on partial throttle.. not on WOT.
Does the car kangeroo almost when you try and pull away?

It doesnt mate no, ive just tried disconnecting the n75 no diffrence, the throttle position sensor no diffrence, the MAF runs bad but no more boost, and the little sensor with the vacum pipe on top of the rocker also no diffrence.

other thing worth mentioning is the big breather pipe thats comes up from the bottom of the engine has been cut and did have an aftermarket oil breather on it that has since fallen off! is this a possible prob?

Just put a cable tie round the hose to the actuator and boosts properly again?

Could really do with any ideas regards why I can get boost if I kink the actuator hose guys? If not anyone recomend somewhere to take it pref with a rolling road in kent/south london?

kink pipe = uncontrolled wastegate, shut.
so... the clue is the n75 before it Or its stuck in limp mode etc (5psi)

Dont know if it worth mentioning but ive found reciepts in the paperwork that say it has had a n249 bypass, a 4 bar regulator and a MAF sensor all from Jabbasport in 2005 when it was only 5 years old?

As bill said, sounds like n75 to me.. not uncommon for them to give up

Ive fitted a brand new N75 tho and ive tried the car again with the old N75 after fitting the new lamba no diffrence :headhurt: The only other thing to change is the actuator i spose but dont think that can really be causing this much trouble.

Does the actuator rod move freely? If you can't move the actuator rod it's possible the wastegate is sticking....open in this case...

I'm actually having a very similar problem....

When I disconnect my n75 from the vac on the actuator I get full boost dropping to 10psi....so possible mine is jamming....

When my n75 is connected I get 8psi max....tried a number of diff n75's

The actuator rod does move not easily but easier than it should if that makes sense, basically its weak. Im gona try disconecting the N75 and see what happens.

Guys the car owes me £1600 + £90 for parts so far and to be fair it should be worth around the £2500 mark when running sweet yeah?? Think im just gona have to bite the bullet and take it to a garage, has anyone here used Sanspeed before??
