Help from those with cars in bits

just a little favour from you guys who got there cupra's in pieces at the min

need to know the diameter of the coolant hose which goes from the thermostat to the bottom of the rad!

mine has now managed to wear through 2 of them. so i'm going to buy some super flexi stuff from samco but need to know the size at each end, as i think it may be slightly different!

At a guess mate id say 30mm

i had to repair one with some rubber tape for now, and didnt have the time on the side of the road to measure it

gaffer tape and red bull cans work well in this situation

mine done the same at snet, i've since modified the new one with extra gaffer tape and parts of the old hose where it touches the rad cowling

works fine now
