Help!! How to work Headlight Washers

Please could someone tell me how to work the headlight washers? i cant seem to figure it out

Don't they come on when you wash the front screen?

They work when you wash the screen IF your headlights are on.

I find they dont work all the time though.. and they kinda just do a little spray and to be honest it doesnt clean them very good...

Hey all,

They work on every third pull of the washer stalk but the lights need to be on. I had to ask this question a while back as I didn't think mine were working.

as simon said every third wash of the windscreen. I leave my lights on nearly all the time, everytime you turn off the car it will reset so if you leave the lights on when you go back to the car if you wash the windscreen it will always wash the lights too first time.
