nothing on the dash area at all? i know there is on mine as needed to read to tell garage so they could get paint code an di have an 04 reg.

looks a trip to garage is gonna be best way to sort this

theres 1 in the engine bay at the top left just below the top of the suspension.

The white label in the boot will have the VIN number at the top of it and should have all the info needed to tell you all you need to know about your car(s)
I have a list on my PC at home which tells you how to interpret the label and will post it tonight after work
VIN number is usually visible through a little clear window in the shaded area round the edge of the windscreen

After this you get a series of 3-character Option codes which indicate what options were installed at the factory.

Of course the build sheet only tells you the condition of the car when it was delivered.

First three VIN characters: Manufacturer

Europe is indicated by a first character of S-Z. Within this range, Spain has the codes VS-VW. Skoda's TM indicates Czech Republic, and anything beginning with a W is from Germany.
