Does anyone know if the black base of the aerial is removable???
Could do with taking it off for a while.

Cheers techie, gonna feel a bit dodgy pulling the roof lining off.
Is it quite easy to get the lining back on neatly?

The roof is getting wrapped char!
If the base wasn't removable the wrap would have had to be cut and then from the base backwards there would a faint line where the wrap overlaps slightly haha
Hard to explain!
Seems we have the same car charlotte! Yours a 1.4?
Quite a few things planned for the little Brum!

Not to bad to drop the lining down just need to remove b and c pillar trims.

I did the same when the roof was painted.

Aw thats cool! I want my roof done but none of the companies got back to me. Just got a quote to get the roof sprayed...£270...i'd rather have a sticker on my roof lol.

Yeah got the same :) 1.4 too. Saving up to get my Spoiler at the mo, taking a whole though lol.

What else you got lined up?

how do you get the aerial off the top i have tried to screw off but wont screw all the way out.sorry if i have nicked your post.

bowie

It can't be taken off like that, some security thing to stop idiots from stealing your aerial. I spoke to wrappers who said they don't need to remove the aerial. You cut an x in the sheet which goes over the aerial and then cut it nicely round the base of the aerial. Could be a cowboy way to do it, i wouldn't know hahahahahhaha

Sorry to spam the post...Jason, have you been a naughty boy on here? lol. Cause of what your thing says. And i cant PM you.

Haha Jason that sounds like a crazy way off doing it to me! But I ain't to clued up on it so I dunno.

Char - the things I'm wanting to do are, sideskirts, tinted windows, lowered (only on springs), maybe spoiler but that may need selling to me more, door sills, fr grille or badgeless one and a bit of fancy interior lighting :)

Not sure whether to get rid of Ibiza on the boot!
I few little mods and a few bigger jobs :)

Then hopefully some ice after seeing some sweet setups at awesome!

Nice stuff pretty much what i eventually want! Got the tints, this is my list;

Spoiler, Side skirts, lowered (probs coils), roof black, brake calipers white, fr grille or badgeless (im with badgeless at the moment as ive found one) door sills and new gear knob. Maybe change the sidelights, saw someone with an ibiza and thought on god, that looks horrible with the yellowish style. Yuck.

Thats all :) wish i'd stop buying other things though lol.

Haha all my sidelights are done with headlights to match the colour :)
They do look minging yellow!

Might have to steal your idea on the brake calipers lol forgot about them!

Where've you found the grill matey??! Seen one on some foreign website so might have to get that shipped over.
I'd love coillies but can't justify the cost at the moment, if I don't get springs by December I'll get collies maybe, b day and Christmas money haha

That sounds more like a full body wrap price to me char!
Where did you get your price from mardon?
My price was the same from a place in chorley.

I'm liking that grille! Might have to buy one of those!

Mardon, did you go to the awesome bash? I went for a hour or so but didn't see no boc's :-(

Didn't make it mate, I was drunk in Aberystwyth. Shame as I did want to go but couldn't get back.

Got my quote from www.autopro-motorsport.co.uk in chester. Seems a nice bunch on the phone. I'd have to check how they'd get round the aerial problem.

Jason asked me to messure my roof so he could get a quote. Char baby is that from the same place?

No i haven't tried them, got another quote from a local company for £150 + vat. So looks like i'd rather go there.

Hi Charlotte

The price to have a Seat Ibiza Sport roof wrapped in 100% black gloss Avery 900 series supper cast wrapping film is £ 150.00 + VAT
