Help Needed....Strange box in engine bay!

Hi,
I've had my leon cupra for around 2 weeks now and have just noticed a strange looking box. Don't have a clue what it is but i'm pretty sure it's not standard!

If anyone could help, i'd really appreciate it!

Yeah they are! Thanks so much for that, I was quite worried that it was one of those cheap chip things!
