So had it plugged in on a code reader. Was showing a misfire on cylinder 4. Not sure if could be coilpack.

But I still can't understand why the oil would be all over .

Swap the coil pack from 4 to another one see if it the fault changes to another cylinder?

I hope you haven't lost any compression... (worst case scenario...)

If your PCV is broken which mite be 50/50 then you will need to swap out the rear pcv pipe too, if your staying oem but you can use blanking plate or a catchcan and ignore the rear pipe then. (hope this makes sense?)

Cheers

Did you have your cam belt changed at your service ?

If not check what work was carried out.
If you have oil coming out of the filler cap 100% failed Pcv valve , the juddering is from the emissions system not being sealed and the positive crankcase pressure being released.

Turn your car on , sit at idle , open the bonnet and remove the dipstick , I your pcv is ok the car should shudder and the revs hunt and try to stall , if there is no change then the pcv is knackered.
Just check the connections first because it's weird you had a loose bolt and if your cam belt was replaced then they will have removed your rocker cover.

Didn't have the belt done, just oil, filter, plugs.

Yeah don't understand the loose bolt.

If I brought a new Pcv from seat would all this come as one or is it multiple parts?

have you swapped coil packs and rechecked if it moves??

that looks to be running ok to me never seen what they run like with PCV failure

Swapped one over, left it rocking over didn't through anymore codes up.

Yep tightened that screw up no oil seems to be coming from there.

How is the idle??? moving or stable?

Idle doesn't seem to bad. Try's to cut out every now and then but doesn't cut out.

Looked at that back pipe, does look quite tight to get to it.

If that pipe was blocking up I assume this would cause the build up in the head. Assuming that the pcv hasn't broke.

Think I'm going to order a new one tomorrow and go from there.
