Hi all

Well not long ago i fitted a new cd player to the car an alpine sat nav thing but i needed to buy an iso block an cut it an join it to extend it to the brain box under the seat or in my case behind the dash, But on doin this stupid me let 2 of the wires touch on the iso block. Well when they touched the central locking locked then unlocked an i thought that was all, But once i went for a drive i noticed the radio (orignal since put back in due to this problem) never turned on but my central locking locked when i stoped took the keys out it used to unlock but it dont now an the radio dont turn off either dunno if any of u brain box's out there have any idea how i can sort this. Halfruds seem to think ignistion fuse blown but none are blown that i can see.

Thanks for reading guys an hope you can help otherwise ill have to hang my head in shame :(

Might be worth going over them again. Use the manual to find the fuse that powers the radio - it's often paired with the interior lighting (not sure if it is on the Leon) - is that working?

If you're 100% the stereo fuse is ok, then you need to check that there is power getting to the head unit - a multimeter or test lamp would be useful

well the radio works but i have to turn it on manually an everything else is working bar the central unlocking auto works manually via the button or key

ah i see you may have 2 wires crossed then thats why you have to press it manually or stereo may have a setting on it that turns itself on when ignition on when taking out old stereo it may of teset that feature? just a guess not to sure but check

Its a idea but dnt explain why the central locking dnt work right dunno why it works when im setting off(locks) but dnt unlock when i stop
