Help please

I have a seat Ibiza 2001 and my problem is that the battery went flat and i managed to get someone to jump start the car when I got home and went to lock the car I turned the key and nothing happened so I now have to climb through the back just to lock the door


any ideas what the problem is?

Get drop test on your battery. Most spares shops do it for free.
Always best to start at power source.
Could have sedimented up internally and lost a cell or cells.
Go from there......

Yeah, a drop test on your battery will tell you a lot. I don’t wanna be rude but when I read that you climb through the back made me lough so much! Your friends who get to see that must be delighted!
