after the huge barrel of heartache I went through with both my MK1 Leons, it really saddens me to see that stories like this are still around. Poor service and poor quality of workmanship always have let the brand down!
A sad day for the enthusiasts that SEAT have STILL not raised their game!!

Best of luck fella!

Unfortunately its a shame as you say it ruins the image. My experience with the VAG group are:

VW Portsmouth - Arrogant bunch of idiots who didn't want to talk to us as we weren't buying that day. Lost my business for good
Seat Portsmouth - Very very good team there
Seat in General - Sales are very keen (obviously) but the service departments are nigh on useless
Skoda - Best of the lot! When the missus and I went and test drove a Furby VRs the other week; the salesman let us go out on our own, wasn't pushy and very helpful
Audi - Not had experience with them yet

However, i've contacted 2 Skoda dealers about ex demo Furby VRs's last week. Neither got back to me........ I'm tempted by a FIAT Panda 100hp, but that means dealing with a FIAT dealership..... FIAT SEAT its all the same right?

Maybe its just me?

Andrew has bought a Vauxhall Signum Design 150 CDTi, ex Vauxhall management 5600miles, colour satnav & 19" wheels - £13500. Not as fast as the Leon (currently) but the nice Celtic Tuning guys can sort that i'm sure. We've gone for a Vauxhall cos my mate is aftersales director at our local dealer
