These are a major ball ache for me and I never ever take them off, however I had to have 2 new tyres fitted today and they took the jacking point covers off in order to get my wheels off.
Short ride home, pull on the drive and realise my passenger jacking point sill cover is missing, so I drive back the way I came home and I find it on the road. Issue being one of the side clips is broken so it won't hold on just one side given all the vibrations from our terrible roads. Is there any method I can use to secure it so I don't have to buy another. I know they're only like £30 but there's not much wrong with this one, at least not after I've painted it again!
I was thinking maybe a tie wrap to the sill cover? Any other suggestions
