Help!! Vacuum reservoir

Been replacing vac hoses this afternoon and have pulled too hard on the hose that connects to the vacuum reservoir (black ball).
Where can I get a new vacuum reservoir from?
Secondly, is it safe to drive the car (pd160) off I plug the vac hose with a screw until I replace the reservoir?

I would not drive without it. Is it not there if the brakes, Turbo and egr all want vacuum at the same time

scrap yard or ebay
if you go the ebay route then type in seat ibiza and then click parts. look for someone breaking a seat. Usually listed as a wheel nut for sale, then ask them how much for the vacuum reservoir.

Nice one guys! Found a VW Audi specialist breaker 6 miles from me who I'll ring in the morning so I'll try those first as I need it ASAP.
My next question is does it have to be one from an ibiza tdi?
I would expect a 1.9 tdi vac ball from any VAG car will be the same?

Right, i haven't yet got a new vacuum reservoir but got the vacuum reservoir off (black ball at front of engine) and thought I'd post some useful info.
The ibiza tdi has the same reservoir as other VAG cars such as A3 and Golf. It's part number is 054 129 808.
The part number is on the back of the ball which you can't see until it is removed from the car.

Thought I'd post this as I've been struggling to find this information.

One last thing. The ball is held on to its own bracket by a screw which can't be accessed whilst the ball is in the car.
The brack has to be removed which is simply held on by one bolt that can be removed with a size 8 Allen key. You ideally want a Socket-style Allen key that will fit on a socket set and this will make the bolt really easy to remove.

The only thing that complicates the removal of the bracket is a pope in front of the Allen bolt which has to be removed. This just needs the clip removing and a firm tug on the pipe to remove it. You now have free access to the bolt.

Snapped the nozzle off the reservoir.

I have temporarily mended it by cutting the clear bit off a pen cartridge where the ink stops and it fits perfectly inside the broken nozzle and The other end I have pushed back in to the ball. Just a temporary fix until I pick another one up tomorrow

Leave it off. You can delete it no problem. It's only used for the ASV

That's one of its functions. Note that I never said the asv won't work without it.

I've been and got another one now and replaced it. Only noticed when I got back but it's got a flat side on the replacement rather than being a full sphere.
Do ya think that this is a problem? I've fitted it and car runs perfectly fine, just worried that the diaphragm inside will be smaller due to the ball having a lesser area??

Proud to say rigging the broken one up with the piece of pen cartridge held pressure perfectly .
Took the pipe off after running the car 24hrs ago and all pressure released.
