help, what car will my engine go in?

hi looking for another car due to my mk1 seat leon turbo being involved in a hit and run today was wondering what cars the engine will go straight into with little or no modification as I have spent too much on the engine, my alternative is to buy another cupra turbo and sell the car as parts.

obviously I have everything needed for a transfer ie brakes etc but would like to know will the engine go straight in a 1.4 16 golf/leon/polo/ibiza or would the mounts need modifying otherwise would it go straight in a 1.8/2.0 engined car straight fit. i know little knowledge so my car club garage will be doing the transplant for me. cheers in advance for the help

Don't think the gearbox will fit in that mate, the 02M box is pretty big.

You'd honestly be better looking for another LC with a blown engine, it'll save a lot of hassle with wiring looms etc...

ive got a 5speed box for it off a ibiza turbo wiring loom etc aint a problem just keeping my options open as I can get the engine fitted into an ibiza aswell as buying the car for under £1100 which is my limit due to xmas and my daughters 1st birthday in jan

Being a 1.8t there are many cars they came in, golf's, a3's, ibizas etc
The mk2 ibiza would be a conversion not just a transplant
As said above you'd be better looking for a car with a blown or dodgy engine, i got my S3 with a blown engine cheap
