Yesterday I had a Turbo timer, boost gauge lighting installed and a Sub/Amp installed but to run off standard HU.

Now when I start the car the alternator/battery light stays on. But my alternator is fine, the battery is charging and holding charge. Can anyone suggest how to fix these error messages?

Take a look here: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php/01176

The other two faults are both intermittent. I'd try clearing them and see if they return before I do anything else.

Isn't this credit?

If you are the author of the so called information in the VAGalizer device, no.

Telling people about our product does not state that the information used in the service is directly copied from the Ross-Tech Wiki.

Are you the author of VAGalizer? Did you get permission from Ross-Tech to take the content from our Wiki and copy it into your application? Did you state on the application page that much of the content of VAGalizer is derived from the Ross-Tech Wiki?

There is something called plagiarism. When one copies the content of someone's work representing it as your own work, this is the definition of plagiarism. Much of the content of the VAGalizer is plagiarized from the Ross-Tech Wiki.

If the author of VAGalizer wants to use that information, that author should do two things: ask permission and acknowledge the source of the information directly.

I think you are right Bruce. Credit should go to the authors.

I thought the information from a wiki which can be edited by anyone is public domain.
My mistake.

I'm in contact with Sebastian and I tried to talk to him about this but I could not find him online lately

Please don't be so hard on me. How can i make up this to you?

There is nothing to be made up. Just please acknowledge the direct source of the information in VAGalizer.

You need to understand that with the large amount of people on the web taking our information and using it without our permission, we get a bit snarly. The wiki is largely the work of Sebastian and Andy from Ross-Tech. Occasionally information is submitted by others for inclusion but we have not allowed it to be free flow information. All information must be vetted first by our technical staff before it is posted. Reason: we want good content on the wiki.

If you will put a message on your design that much of the information is from the Ross-Tech wiki and when it appears in the text that you show, again acknowledge it's source, Ross-Tech will have been made happy!

Motohub, thank you for making the changes in your application.

Moderators, now that those changes are made, please allow Motohub to provide a link to his application. It is quite slick.

Nice Motohub. I think many will find your app useful.
