help with stereo adapter for steering controls

hi i have got a Sony dsx-a40ui which is steering control compatible, i just been into halfords and they said the adapter would be £43 which is stupid amount. does anyone know what adapter to get? ive been looking and don't know which is the right one to get. thanks

Usually it's a two part adapter thingy you need.

One adapter fits the headunit, the other adapter fits the car specific plugs.
The two adapters then plug into each other and it works.

£43 sounds about right, get the Halfords monkeys to fit it in the car park so you know it works before you drive away.

or have a poke round the Connects2 website, as 9 times out of 10 they are the company supplying the adapter.
