Hi guys,

My name is Martin. Been using the forum mainly for research purposes, thought its about time I register.

I drive a MkIV Ibiza Cupra 1.8T with Stg2 Unitronic softwate, a Forge TIP and locally fabricated downpipe.

There's a wealth of knowledge on here so hoping to learn and maybe contribute a little as well.

Hi. I recently returned from Jo'burg and it was great, albeit sad given the marque's departure, to see quite a number of Ibizas and Leons. Am sure an Altea drove past me too. With more commitment from VW, SEAT would have done well in ZA.

Yeah it really is a pity the SEAT marque was dropped by VWSA. There are still quite a few on the roads and while the following is small, it definitely is loyal.

You came down for vacation?

Yeah my other half is South African, so was my fifth visit. Mainly stayed in J'burg and Pretoria this holiday.
There did seem to be quite a few still on the roads and whilst a shame, it is good to hear there is a small but loyal following!

Well done on catching a good woman then. Hehe. The Cupra models have kept their value remarkably well, other models not so much but the people who drive them, love them
