1) check fuses are 'both' ok firstly

2) if you have H1 twin lamps (gti) then disconnect the yellow wire to the resistor that's hidden in the inner wing NS (behind battery)

could be more but those 2 are usual and easiest

ibeen quoted 130 to get thenm done including fitting is this a good price

search on here for a few reccomended suppliers and the rigth bulb type and fit em yaself for probably less than half that to be honest

if you can change a headlamp bulb you are halfway there give or take a hole or a wiring terminal
