Hi all, ive recently bought a new 1.2 TSI FR ibiza and im looking for simple things that i can do to spruce it up a little bit.

Im not sure whether to get HIDs or just upgrade the bulbs. Thought i would try and get some of your opinions on this.

all opinions/Ideas would be great :)

Hids easy to fit and look awsome. As you can seeped vs new and I changed side light to led

you can clearly see the difference like! Looks good.

Are they 6k? just thinking about the ballasts or w.e they're called. is there places to store them easily?

Do you have the link where you got them from?

Don't have a link and easy to store the ballast and yeah the are 6k from hids direct terminator pack the ballast sit near the wheel arch ill see if I can take a pic and use it for you.

No bother mate. I'll have a browse about tonight and see if i can find any. They're H7 bulbs on these yeah? Also what side light bulbs did you get?

If you have reflector light get h7r and I got 8smd led side lights of eBay and led resistor of hids direct so the warning light dose not come up to say a bulb had gone as they run of a lower voltage.

ive had ultras and now got hids, looks well so far but i think mine are out of align and dont know how to fix that, have a look at my posts as ive taken pics of how i fitted mine

Not sure how you find out since ive just bought it haha. When i was looking for bulbs, it was going on about twin headlights or single? Also what you mean about leaving it loose?

I will have a look mate cheers :)

Dont tie or bolt it to anything. See if the the headlight has a sliver dish or a concave pice if glass in it, if dish h7r if concave h7

So they are easy to change if ever needed and also if they are to close to some of the electrics it will not interfere with the radio signal, also not sure if they get hot so would not want to shirt circuit something.

Ok well for me it's easy to cut the cable tie and re do them if I need to. Don't listen to my radio as I've got a pioneer with micro sd card. And it's not touching the metal or body so plenty of air to circulate

My main prob is they to me look wonky but doesn't help being lighter at night cos not had chance to properly test them

They don't sit unlevel unless you have projectors with h7 if you have reflectors with h7 they do look unlevel so would need h7r lights. I put the old lights in got them releveled and put the hids back on and they sit slightly uneven.

I had a HID kit from eBay on my bike (H7) and was not impressed with the reach of the beam.
I now have Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in my bike and my Ibiza. I have the tdi sport so have twin H7 lamps and am really impressed with the brightness and reach of the Osram bulbs.
You can find twin packs on eBay for approx £20. Much cheaper than HID.
