HIDs or Upgrade bulbs

They are cheaper yes but as discussed on here if you have a reflective head light you will need h7r not h7 as they don't work the same. I have t&t

Is this just a coincidence or has it affected my hands free? Can't remember last time I checked my hands free on my stereo but now basically the mic doesn't work I can hear them but they can't hear me. Is it just a faulty mic or has the hids or can the hids affect this? FYI the radio still works if that helps

It should not affect the mic best way to check take the hids out and see what happens. But it has never affect mine.

They give a better/more ture light pattern and don't give the glare as the h7

Probably not a coincidence, HID kits are renown for interfering with electronic systems Google it......

You are correct but it has never come up on any topic on here. It usually affects the radio only.

Ok we'll I will look at a new mic see what happens like I said radio is fine and my lights wasn't turned on. If its not the mic ain't a clue what's happened then might try a system restore see if that works

I had a HID kit from eBay on my bike (H7) and was not impressed with the reach of the beam.
I now have Osram Nightbreaker bulbs in my bike and my Ibiza. I have the tdi sport so have twin H7 lamps and am really impressed with the brightness and reach of the Osram bulbs.
You can find twin packs on eBay for approx £20. Much cheaper than HID.

Yeah ive been looking at those bulbs. Was debating whether or not to get or get the HIDs.

Also Magicsky, i'll try upload a photo and you'll be-able to tell me which bulbs i will need

Mate, check out my thread. I've just fitted replaced literally every standard bulb (apart from fogs) to Ultra white. The car is totally standard (for now ) apart from the bulb. I think it looks so much better!! It'll look even better on a white car!!

osram nightbreakers do not give off the same white light as hid's. i have them on my bocanegra and to be honest i'm not very impressed with them. plus one of them recently died. i don't want to commit to hids though as i can't stand being blinded by other twats with them.
