done the twin headlamnp convertion on the car and put in new H7 HIDS cost me £120 odd quid soo not cheap, passenger side is cutting out now and again and you need to switch all lights off and on to get it back on, also happens when i put on full beam and flick it off, do i need to change the wiring from H$ to an H7 setup or is it a dodgy ballast or bulb? its all covered under garentee anyways, driverside has never cut out so im thinking it a problem with the ballast, or bulb? or a short circuit?
 
try changing the bulbs over but leave the ballasts in the same place, if its a bulb problem them the fault should switch over to the drivers side, if its a ballast problem or something else i immagine the fault will not change. i had a problem where only one side was coming on and i had to turn the lights on and off a number of times to get it on, so i had a fiddle and found that the fault was following the bulb around and not the ballast, hope you find some help from this. :)

I had this type of issue when I fitted a H7 HID to my Honda Blackbird.

It turned out to be the OEM connector not being tight enough on the HID spade connectors.

HID needs a good connection to start up - then it draws less than the OEM bulbs

Was a simple fix - have the female connectors in the connector block squeezed so they are a good fit on the HID spade connectors.

Alternative way is to find some spade connectors that are a good fit in the OEM connector block and replace the spade connectors on the HID unit.
