Highest mileage leon mk2 and reliability issues?

For a bit of fun, who has the highest mileage, Leon Mk2 and how reliable have they been?
I'm gonna guess it's a diesel with the biggest mega mileage, but let's see both petrol and diesels up.
Also any probs experienced?
So model of car, mileage/age and any BIGgish problems?

Don't think i'll win this!

Leon fr tdi, 11000/58 plate. No probs apart from tuning hiccups

09 FR TFSI DSG, 26k miles.

It's had a recurring fault with the little orange engine light coming on. It's been to the dealers several times about it and they've replaced a sensor or two. Recently it's started to get an annoying problem with the DSG becoming jerky/strange when it's been in stop-start traffic or city driving for quite a while.

It's going in for 3 days investigation from tomorrow. Fingers-crossed...

No problems at moment (Touch Wood)

Only little things are:
Bluetooth voice command decides to call someone else when i say Home Will have to delete and re-add entry
Listening to an album from HDD and then when it finishes that track, changes to the very 1st album and 1st track.. does get frustrating

39k/08 FR DSG from new.

DSG Mechatronics unit replaced @ 18k.

Having spent the past three weeks in a 1.25 Fiesta Edge (17 secs to 60!) due to an idiot turning into me on a roundabout, I can confirm the Leon is a better car than I normally give it credit for. Also, it has made me realise how much I love DSG - never go back!

I see a couple of the petrols are a bit above average mileage? Is that due to working commutes, or leisure? Did yo not fancy the diesel's trump card with fuel economy and better residuals?? Just interesting to know. Stoll no other diesls yet

103,000 miles so far in 2006 1.9 Reference. Still get average 61mpg, on original clutch and brake disks. Only items changed have been service items plus water pump as precaution when timing belt changed. Hope to get it up to 200,000!

Thats more like it!! Take it you have a long way to go to work? Does the car still feel mint condition to drive and still pulls well? 100k is nothing for the big pd lumps right enough!

Yes, I commute from Essex to Lake District once a week, so put on about 800 miles a week!
Car is generally rattle free but seats could be a bit more supportive on the long drive but I feel thats more a problem with it having 'base' model seats rather than any wear. The suspension on the Leon is a bit firm for all this motorway travel, and I do toy with swapping back to an Octavia at times for a bit of comfort. But then I see the shape of the Leon and think nahh, I will put up with it. Retrofitted cruise which helps a lot on the long journey!

I had a 55 plate TFSi sport, (company car) with 77k on clock at the end.

It developed a major misfire and required 16 visits to the dealer (I kid you not !) it was traced to a faulty wiring loom shorting several engine sensors.

Didn't stop me buying my own Cupra though...- am I a masicist ?

Sorry - only 23K on my March 08 FR DP-friggin-F TDI...

However, about 3 or 4K of that has been towing 1000kgs of caravan around the UK; and another 6K has been blasting down to Spain (near Valencia) through France and back.

Probs: Zorst sensors and DPF warning light + limp-mode, all done under warranty. Annoying rattle inside dash behind radio which stealers blamed on me...
Under-bonnet insulation thingy sagging onto engine cover and rubbing away silver colour - seeing stealers about that next service.

I wanted more power and TFSI engine is way forward for me car was on 40k mileage when I got it after that I added another 20k on top due to driving 100 miles to work everyday however petrol expenses paid for. (drove a diesel ibiza cupra before it was alright...but petrol for me)

We have a Freetrack with the PD170 and that's enough exposure for me. I want to enjoy my non family driving and petrol is the only way imho.

Mine is mainly due to my 40-odd mile each way commute. At the time I was researching replacements for my dying Golf TDI, all the reviews said the diesel was good but the TFSI version was really special. And they also raved about the DSG version, which is what I was most interested in. At that time, you couldn't get a derv FR with DSG, so I plumped for the petrol knowing that it'd be more expensive to run but failing to realise just *how* much more expensive it would be to run.

A very expensive lesson to learn, but I see it as a sort of early mid-life crisis... my one and possibly only foray into the world of driving for fun rather than necessity.
I really like blasting about in my FR from time to time, but if I'm honest it's the wrong car for me 99% of the time.

I'm going to listen to my head rather than heart next time!

Been in garage 4 times to sort the CUP/AUX connection when playing my iPod... fingers crossed it is fixed today and in the garage for the last time!
Also the driver side rear internal door handle fell off when someone wanted to get out lol..

08 FR TDI which I got when it had 6k on the clock

Now it's got 48k on the dials

Only big issue was one of the bolts or something to do with the gearbox mount went so had to get that replaced which also caused an aircon pipe to split.
