Just rang TPS and they quoted £23.89 + vat

I thinks i will buy a shield kit cloth/trim off ebay for less than that and make it myself :D

yeh thats the same part number as iv got here, i was gonna go down to my local dealer today and see if i can find out a bit more about them, some people on here have been sayin it just messes with ur ignition timing and causes it to run badly..

No problems with mine at all, never had any bad running issues or anything like that.

sure they are not from a BAM engine and they have never been fitted of the factory on a LCR. its op to you if you like them and would like to fit them on your car, no one says you have to, but if a dealer say they not from a LCR, is that the same as its not going to fit?

same for my engine, 2001 APP 180bhp, and my car have the bolt down coils, the push down is not listet for my car but if i chose to i can fit and run them on my car also.

if a dealer says to you the LCR comes with 18" wheels and the cupra has 17" wheels, what is stopping you from fitting the LCR 18" wheel on a cupra, get my point?

yes thats very true, i do see your point, but with everyone on here saying that these coils interfere with the cars ignition timing, i dont think id like to waste that money on new coils if im just going to loose power..

Why don't you just stick with the standard push in type, that way you know they will work properly?

The latest revision D seems to be reliable so far. I have a set in mine after getting them free from the Skoda Recall. Had 7 year old L's in before, and they were fine too.
