cause its cheaper and y love the pfffffffff sound....

im sure the guys will be along shortly to tell you to search but if you want anything like the pfff sound the forge Split R is your best bet with a CAI...but other than that its been covered a lot of time so searchy searchy my friend

Thats a long thing Cost arm and a leg. think the ecu has to be upgraded. Not worth it just for the dv sound, just get a carbonio/kn typhoon filter with forge 007p. thats the best method with effect the ecu readings

Well if you search theres a thread on the splitter r valve, some ppl have tried but gone back to the 007p, some have just done it to full recirc, some done it full blow off, that may trigger the engine light or cause car to stutter

The HKS SSQV is probably the most successful BOV on the 1.8T, but the shriek does get tiresome after a while - it is NOT cheaper by a long shot. Many have tried the Forge Split-R but removed it again for various reasons, most cannot get it dialled in right.

Best option is to stick to a Forge 007P or Bailey DV30 (which is louder) and a cold-air intake, you'll get dump sound through the induction kit which is loud enough for most.

im shurre it works, cause right now i have installed de recirc forge valve.
and one friend have the ibiza cupra and he have the splitter and de intake hose, and i think its a percfect match. so next moth i will buy all my accesories hajajajaja

I've tried both the DV26 and HKS SSQV and both put my car into limp mode. Luck of the draw i guess. And i wouldn't call the HKS cheap.
