Just reading an article in my mag the HKS T51R turbo and its meant to be the best performing turbo on the market altho in the mag it is fitted to a skyline would it fit on a beefa cupra?
look at it this way, turbochargers require exhaust gases to "spool" (spin the turbine up to a RPM where it is providing positive pressure (boost) ), a turbocharger designed for a 2.6litre skyline is going to have problems spooling using the smaller 1781cc engine's lesser exhaust gasses
Hmm i dunno, if you can find a way of making the 20vt rev like a motorbike you might be shifting enough exhaust gases to spool up around 15k rpm, then hold onto your anus, youre heading for fastsville.
dont know m8 sorry.
if you can find compressor maps for them then compare with something like IHIvf34 or garrett gt28rs for airflows and thats a good guide to begin with for sizing... then fitment itself onto suitable manifold is ya next problem
