So, I had one of my upper front grills pinched whilst parked in town today. I was fuming when I came back and discovered a massive hole next to my centre grill and screwdriver marks everywhere! I'd been wanting to change the standard ones on my 1.4 TDi for a while, so tried to take this as a positive thing...

Anyway, it turns out that they are only £5 (+ VAT) from Seat, so I thought I'd post this on here in case anyone is considering spending £10-15 for them on eBay!

Hopefully this helps a few people save some hard earned money!

Part numbers from TPS Add 01C to the end of each part number for satin black.

With the bonnet up they come off easily enough (as annoyingly proved by someone pinching one of mine). You can pop the old ones out with a screwdriver and the new ones have tabs and just clip in :)

so litterally you can do it without tools??
