I'm picking mine up in just under two weeks and wanted to get some views from some other members on what you think of the car.

If you have a monsoon grey one I'd greatly appreciate pictures :)

Had my 5dr Emocion red 184 for a month now. Has tech pack, convenience pack, full leather (inc winter pack), titanium pack, driver assist pack and seat sound.

I have a back problem and initially the seats set it off. This seems to be improving now and I'm finding it more comfortable.

The engine is great. Plenty of power if you need it but also very efficient. The ride is smooth, you will feels the bumps in the road though. Interior is nice and the fr has lots of spec. Manual box is slick.

It's a great car. You won't be disappointed.

Sounds lovely, I went for a 3dr in the end for added sporty looks, I'm coming from a 2012 focus 1.6td 115bhp so quite a jump in power and build quality :)

I went from an 06 Astra 1.6. Something like 105bhp. Quite a difference!

Main difference being the huge torque increase, the 184 quite a smooth drive is it?

My current car is a 2003 Focus 1.8 TDCi. 115 ish BHP. It does alright and served me well, but the 184 was great when I took it for a test drive.

Yeah my focus is a good car, just wanted a bit more power really, my dad has a scirocco and it's great, being as it's based on the same chassis as a gold and using vw group engines swayed me

In full sun, the day I picked it up.
DSG, DCC, ACC, Navi,Full leather+wWnter pack, paddles, Seat Sound and few other extras. [B)]

I love the car and all the gizmos. The build quality could be better though.

I love my 184 one. DSG is working fine, DCC too. ACC saved my life today.

Every day on the german Autobahn - 120mph (200kmh and >) easily, without any stress. Best consumption, diesel sound is very smooth.

This german Engineering engine is a masterpiece. 5km on the road and very fast on good oiltemperature :)

But: DCC damper could be more quieter on bad roads (no chassis insulating)

Von meinem Samsung Galaxy S4 gesendet.

Looks nice mate, must be better build quality than ford surely?

It sure is better than ford.
@ Zix, what build quality issues do you have mate?
Not really big issue but I guess I expected better materials inside. Particularly the plastic in lower door parts feels cheap, same as the glove box without any carpet.
Other than that it's a great car.

Im quite enjoying my car, I sold an Impreza with 280bhp and I am now leasing a manual 5 door FR for less than £200 / month including vat. It is quite as special as some of the cars I have owned or was looking to get, but for the money and fuel savings I really cannot complain.

It is a big step up in build quality from he scooby, it doesnt feel as slow as I was expecting and the difference between 20mpg and 45mpg means I spend a lot less time and cash at the pumps.

Im impressed with the neutral handling, so much much better than the Audi A4 I looked at but not as good as a 120d or a CLA.

I havent missed the 4wd yet but being a diesel it is sluggish from a standing start, I find it needs to be revved quite hard through 1st gear if you want to get up to speed.
