how can i make my exhaust less boomy?

i've had a longlife exhaust on my car and its starting to get a bit boomy, like drowny and bass-y. Just wondering if theres any way of getting rid of this? I just want a nice sound without the boomyness

thats why buying quality in the first place saves you money in the long run....if you buy a quality exhaust, the boomyness shouldnt exist

Not true. I have always found that exhausts get louder once they have been on for a while!

I'm guessing Longlife is custom? if so take it back to the place where you had it put on and they should be able to put more material in to make it quieter

Does the tailpipe finish inside or outside the rear bumper? Also check your exhaust mounts haven't deteriorated if they are no longer soft, all the vibration will be transmitted back to the car.
