......Remove the Catalic converter like on and off? is it a big job?

or is it just a matter of undoing the sensor, unbolting the pipe at either end then just removing it? then reverse when fitting it back on?

bear in mind the bolts will probably be rusted solid and need grinding off the first time..

Yeh i understand this although one end should be okay as its had a milltek cat back system fitted about 3 months ago, so just replace the bolts on the front, but other than this is it just a straight unbolt on and off job?

should be easy enough yeh; I've been looking at one of those decats for a while - the whole lambda sensor issue is putting me off at the moment tho.

Yeah, I've been speakin to a member on here, whose is decatted, all he says is it just displays the ecu light, which I have vagcom and his engine runs fine, its just the light comming on saying the cat isn't doing its job, because it isn't there.
