hi mate.

i didnt drill.. repeat didnt drill.

I used the rubber grommets already there. drivers side, top left hand side. you can get a wire coat hanger through, then brute force the tubing through. i used fuel lining for my tube so was fairly stiff. that gets you through under the scuttle panel, then i did the same to get it into the cabin... drops in behind the fuse box. bit fiddly but doable :)

Drill near wires = fail IMO.

i drilled its only a few mm thick then it seema theres some sort of foam backing behing the bulkhead whick simply pushed through sone braising rod and them fed my hose through
Be very careful though

Easy

I drilled a hole in the grommet - very carefully and slowly to just make a hole in the plastic (as I read regarding drilling in to far!) so there is a hole now I can feed the tubing into, thing is I can't find it in the car and I have removed the side panel (fuse box) completely. As I'm feeding the 3 metres worth of tubing it's going in and feels like its going down but I can't see it on the inside at all.

So my conclusion was I Havnt drilled into the cabin enough and perhaps was stuck between the grommet and the firewall. So rather then drill and risk it I posted on here.

So you guys suggest a bit of brute strength and some sort of wire/bended out coat hanger? Should I force it in horizontally or should it go down or left or right?

Cheers for the help guys! Managed to get it all sorted and installed :) once I had fed through almost all the 3 metres of tube I saw it and it actually took about 1 minute!

The grommet (only drilled into the plastic! No deeper!)

I fed the tube into the rubber seal that runs along the bonnet top hides it very nicely!
