How long can i leave the service for?

The Leon is due the 20.000 service but im skint big time! so i just wondered how much over the 20K can i go over before the car loses the warranty??

a couple of k, Ive done it before, i just topped the oil up etc myself until payday!

It wont loose warranty per say but (unless you went mad) i think they would be questions over 1k, i asked this question when i got mine and was told up to 500 is the norm and over 1k they may get funny.

if you are going to pay for it to be serviced and they hmm and haa about it id tell them straight that they are not the only dealership around that can change a car's oil, see how quickly they book you in then.

Well i wont let the SEAT MONKEYS at Stoke do the service or do anything to the car for that mater!
I think i will be takin the car down to Awesome or maybe Middlands VW so they should be fine with it (maybe if i ask nicley the will stamp the book with 20K)

just took mine in the car had 22600 km's and was due in at 20,000. they were OK with as they know me here well ... i'm the only guy who gives them wierd part numbers that turn out to be bonnet seals, LCR splitters, seatsport carpets etc...

Ive previously enquired what the mileage limit is, so it wont effect any warranty claims in the future and i was told 1000 miles over is the max.
