How long does it take?

I wonder with these delays why some people with factory orders dont have a big delay ?
I ordered mine 03/08/09 and will be collecting it Thursday (12 weeks 3 days after order) which fits with the time I was told in August.
I know people order differant options but it seems strange some cant get a straight answer off their dealer when it comes to dates.

you'll probably find that most order forms contain terms and conditions which state that the dealer isn't responsible for changes in local taxation rates etc...

just had update on my order for Leon FR CR TDI; ordered 10th Sep.; due 9th Dec. - fingers crossed !!

got my dates confirmed yesterday, i rang them as i was getting worried. they said it will be built at week 47 ( 2 week) then delivered to me 2 weeks after 1st week of december canny wait

That seems very quick
I would of thought the time from the build week to delivery would be more like a month

Thats good news, 2 weeks after build does seem a bit quick though, I believe it is usaly 4 weeks. Sounds like you should still get it for Christmas though.

Two weeks does seem fast, both audi and ford quote 3 weeks from build to delivery. On a brighter note my replacement k1 should be here in the next 10 days. Excellent.

just had another update on my order for Leon FR CR TDI; ordered 10th Sep.; production slipped to build week 50 so now due early Jan.
