How low can i got with a TDI?

Its a 2000 tdi 110.

Reason for asking is that the engine cover is fairly low as it is....dont want to be catching it all over the place!

You have to be careful of the sump (engine cover at the bottom). Standard leons are 20mm higher than the Leon Cupra's so I guess you can drop it 50mm. Thing is your sump is larger than a cupra's so maybe 40mm....depends on what you want to do :)

New alloys? Suspension?

Got new alloys on there way, 17" RS4 replica jobbies.

Just want to drop it a tad, nowt over serious.

I mean i catch the sump cover now, so this is why i though id ask first!

Just put some eibach springs on my TDI se which apparently already has sports suspension from standard. It is probably lowered around 30-35 mm in total and has a really nice feel to it. Only running 15's at mo but havent had any issues yet with catching the undertray and the roads round my way are crap. Also alot of speed bumps and no crunching noises yet either.

Shouldn't be catching the sump unless its been bent or deformed. I had the same problem and he to get it re-put back on.

i got 60mm on my 1.6, please dont go that low, ul ruin it, i brought mine like it, other wise i would have gone with 40
