How many Cupra R where made ?

Please tell me i didnt wast my money on an R, if the cupra is the same.

I'm yet to see another Cupra R in my neck of the woods, so yes, they are pretty exclusive

Back in the day when the MK1 was new i bet everybody was saying why buy the R, ok yes the MK1 R did have alot more new bits on it compared to the Cupra but still


MK1 R's hold alot more money now compared to Cupras and i can only see these being the same

But bear in mind the Mk1 LCR was £18k new.. against £15 was it for the Curpa.

Your right, think I only paid about £13k used for my first one - then they dropped leather as standard.

That they did before reducing the spec slightly and later adding the Cupra 4 bodykit for MY03 which was the one I brought new in 2003.

well ive seen only one on the M6, about 2 Golf R's and a bloke near me owns a Black Scirroco R, its gorgeous obviously

Ive seen more Golf R's and Rocco R's

apart from Seat UK cars and Dude's R i havent seen any others

Hi Guys yep seen two cupra rs both blue one being my mates car have had a go my self and do think it a fantastic machine second gear is superb Thing is my boc will be going back to dealers at the end of the year or early next year and do i get one next or wait for mk3 trouble being even though the new leon will be out next year the cupra will probably be at least two!!!

I've seen a white Mk2 LCR in swindon, Gave the driver a nod as if to say "nice car". He was going the same way as me so I got a good look at it, it was nice.
