How many keys with a Leon MK2

Hi,

Pick up my 57 Plate Leon TDI FR on Saturday
Forgot to ask how many keys I will get with it
How many do you get standard?
Are they all flip keys with buttons for the remote locking?
I really need 2 flip keys......

stealers tend to charge quite a lot for another key. robbing fers always have a way of taking ur money off you.

When I picked up my Cupra a year ago and the dealer only gave me the one flip key I wasn't best impressed.

The thick end of £19k for a new car and only 1 proper key - I got 2 flip keys with the wife's Passat 5 years ago.

Still, they need to save money somewhere I guess.

It's just cost cutting.

My Focus was the same, but most of my other cars have come with 2 keys (Vauxhall, Audi and Toyota).

One flip key & one normal key well hidden away from the other half. I don't want her kerbing my 19" BBS CK's.

Cost for an extra key (flip type) last year for mine at a dealer was around £125 Alot I know, should have really used this in negociating the deal on a new car, which I will next time
I had to bite my lip, but I will have the car for 4 yrs and me and the wife use either car and having no remote is a pain. So got the extra key sooner rather than later.....

I just bought a 57 plate FR and got one flip key and one normal one. In the owners manual (yep I did read it, sad I know!!!!) it mentions about a plastic key tag thing which you need to get new keys. I havent got that. Has everyone else?? I bought the car off a non Seat dealer so need to know so I can go back and break things if needed!!!

How much has everyone paid for their extra key from the dealer?

I have access to a diagnostic machine that can do VAG keys but never done one before so I am a little wary

Don't want to end up net being able to start the car
