Smoggies must be just happy doing minimum miles each week
ha minimum miles?im not happy if im not in me car im always moochin!! if got a car n got petrol y not drive it!
`02 plate LC , had it nearly 4 years . 29k when I bought it , now on 67k
mods , 18" tsw alloys , lowered 30mm on Koni springs , fabia rear wiper , stubby ariel
parts replaced:
temp control sensor
2 rear central locking modules
coil packs
coolant bottle
cv boot
2 breather pipes
climate control unit
front doors resealed
Normal sevicing & timing belt/water pump & anti roll bar bushes
I have thought about selling it but i`d only get 3-3.5k if im lucky & I theres nothing I really want at the mo

Very close to 90k miles, had it from new in September 2002. Black LC (facelift)
Head Gasget blew under warranty - sorted, free of charge.
3 coil packs have gone - replaced free of charge.
The rest, wear & tear - cambelt, water pump, exhaust, etc.
Best mod - Becker radio with bluetooth - totally transformed the audio experience!
Its been very well looked after & the interior considering the mileage is immaculate. With the exterior, well one or two dints from stupid & ignorant motorists unfortunetly.

so far oil pump went, cost me £60 replaced myself
coil pack £30 replaced myself
set of spark plugs £30
have to say love the we leon looking into to getting it remapped at the minute, got an lpg system put in it about 5mths ago and getting 310miles to £27 of lpg and £5 of petrol. instead of 330 for £60 petrol. so loving it at the minute

'05 reg 150pd.... 54k.... ish done over 10k since august, bugger.

i know!in 6months i used my 4 free goes with the aa.they wanted a fortune the next time i rang them!never did renew my membership!

Probably not - lol.
I remember years ago Top Gear doing a test with a Golf GTi (or VR6?) that had done 60k miles vs one that had done 20-odd k miles and the 60k one was faster, so I need to do more miles to loosen it off - lol!
i musta put a scud on myself, went out today to have a look and see what make my dv is and the bonett release isnt working lol gona have to have a look at tomorrow

Leona (God rest her soul) was a 52 plate, she had 58k when I sold her *sob*

Not a leon, but my toledo is just short of 94k miles.
Problems:
Battery (Managed 7 years!)
Door switch doesn't work so car re-locks itself all the time
Suspension bushes (The oil leaked out of rear hydro's)
Farting Stereo
Rusted brakepipe
Aircon regas (Previous owner probably never used it)
Alternator belt and tensioner
Nothing major though!!! touch wood.
The car seems to be quite loud at the minute, but the exhaust isn't leaking. Sounds good though, running REALLY well and no fault codes, so I will leave it as is.
Would I sell it? Nope, if anyone's gonna break it, it will be me
