Have to say been faultless for a car with high millage, friends astra VXR always in the garage and done even better than brothers CTR and they spose to be bullet proof.
55 plate cupra r 225 on about 85k and loving it,only probs i had when getting it was the indicator stalk was sticking and the previous owner had spilt coke in the buttons!
My 2004 Leon Cupra TDI has 109k on the clock. Owned it since June 2008, it had on it around 79k. You just don't realise how far a fast car goes compared to a the time/distance of a slow car.
Bought mine a few weeks ago,had a water leak yesterday, which is common thing i read.
So will be replacing the door seals next week. Touch wood apart from this all good
my 04 leon 1.6 16v has done around 74,000miles ive owned it for the last 10,000 and only had door leeks as a problem, i love these cars just a shame it hasnt got 225bhp engine
52 plate cupra 180, bought at 52k in Nov just gone. Just hit 54k and found time for oil change. Cam belt and water pump to do, with another oil change at prob 58k.
Front left spring snapped on me within a month and a suspicious white clip has been put in the ashtray, most likely the start of the clutch pedal problem ive been reading about!! Time to have a look i think! Love the car to date though
