as above really just wondered how many people have decided to leave their cupra or fr standard, ive only mapped mine but it was by far the best mod ive ever done to any of my cars why seat didnt sell the car like this i dont know. i just want sideskirts and boot spoiler to finish the car off, id love to go stage 2+ but my wife has got better things to spend the money on:(

If you chose an FR or Cupra (over a "standard" non-performance Leon) then you probably have an interest in fast or modified cars anyway. As a result, you will have a constant craving to GO FASTER :D - which usually results in wanting to upgrade this or that, or alter the styling in some way (Alloys, Suspension, Body kit or lights etc) or carry out modifications to increase performance (Remap, de-DPF etc).

Compare that against someone with a standard Leon (non-FR or Cupra), and probably the car never gets any modifications, apart from perhaps a new set of mats or features a "Baby on board" window sticker! :)

Mine is standard except for the skirts and spoiler you mention

<---------See my pic :)

Our FR is standard plenty of poke for me and always said the more power yo had the more power you want been down that road lol

my intention was to leave my cupra standard but after reading the reviews of a mapped car i went and had the revo 5hr trail, lets just say i was sold after 5 miles never mind 5hrs

mines standard power wise but not for the want of trying. Had a map but car didn't like it made it poorly so had to have it off. Getting a bov fitted Friday followed by a itg intake. Bodywork got sills, skirts, pedals, spoiler, grill, different lights and badging on front. Dropped it aswell. Love little mods :)

Mine's pretty much standard lol.
Just a K&N cone filter,forge spacer,remus back box+resonator delete.Got some aero skirts,and i might get the je design rear spoiler.Next on the list:intake + revo&co ,oh yeah...and a downpipe too.

^ Yeah, I rest my case. A perfect example of an owner who is content with their performance SEAT, and feels no need to "enhance" its looks or how it drives!

Have FL Cupra and have currently decided to keep it standard until the warranty expires. One thing that has surprised me is how skittish the car is when accelerating flat out on slightly uneven roads. I will want to correct this and go stage 2+.

Anyone in South West (Bristol area) that has stage 2+ that wouldn't mind demonstrating performance if I paid for fuel?

i have left my engine standard as if i had wanted speed i would have bought a faster car, i prefer spending money on toys inside it!!

Mines standard, however I did try the Bluefin Stage 1 map and it didn't suit the car and after four different files from Superchips the revs kept dropping in 4th gear above 4500rpm. Car is running fine and there's no clutch slip.

My 08 Cupra is totally standard apart from the stone chip protection film on the bonnet and front bumper.
I have considered getting a REVO stage 1 but to be honest the standard performance suits me fine at the moment.

100% standard FL Cupra here !! well apart from a Forge spacer that is !! :D but thats how it will be staying until my warranty runs out !! So only a 3 year wait before i can start the modding !! :(
