Interesting read... I haven't actually bought a Leon yet, There are a good few bargain lc's about.
But I know I will regret not saving for a bit longer and holding out for an lcr if I buy now!

Anyone regret buying an LC When you pull up next to an lcr?

that's the problem though... If a buy a cupra to save money, I will almost certainly spend at least twice as much as I saved making it faster than a standard cupra R to justify my choice making the whole thing pointless

Youd only need a remap and decat and youd be faster.... until the Rs mapped of course!

Your better off seeing them as 2 different cars rather than comparing the two. Both good platforms to modify. :)

always better to get the best you can afford as its inevitable more speed is needed somewhere along the line!

Then you buy a Cupra R and spend money making that faster too. Its a never ending loop my friend, unless you buy a Bugatti.

I paid £4295 Dec 2012 for my LCR standard. Full service history and she had 73K on it. Now she has 77K and Stage 1 with few mods. Since then no problems at all. All I did was to change timing belt and water pump and changed my discs and pads. Am loving it. Am getting my Milltek system fitted on Saturday. I can't wait. I got big plans for her future.
