thats where my car got serviced, the SEAT garage in sidcup, next to the land rover sales room.
My understanding of a service is you pay a set price for the service and everything is included within that price....labour, parts, etc. Not a price for the service then get charged on top of that.
i would mate then if you get no joy with that then take it up with seat uk. Tell them that you are on this foruum and that you have voiced your opinions of them ripping you off and that alot of people have said they wont be using them in the future....... im sure you will get somewhere then
Derek is actually quite a decent fella. basically the Mk2 Leon has been "ill" for the last year and weve been back twice getting it fixed...it needed a service so derek offered the service without labour costs!
My 1st service is coming up in september, i no its still a fair few months away but my mate works at VW and im taking mine there. Not even gonna bother getting a price from seat
i had my 10k done a few months ago, seat wanted £195 i told them to stick it and went to a local vw specialist for £140, i know the 20k is more, so seat are just a rip off im afraid.
yeah as do i, the bloke who sold me my car was brilliant, couldnt fault him at all!! even gave me free cupra mats and my mum a bunch of flowers as it only took us 2 trips (first trip then test drive) to pay for the car....or atleast thats what he and my mum told me!! lol
The only grip i do have with them is that i have had a squeeky clutch pedal for ages and have taken it in there to be serviced twice, and one or 2 things looked at on seperaye occasions, and each time have asked them to look at it for me, including this time, and they havent touched it!! i know they had made a note of it to be looked at as it was on the sheet of paper for what needs to be done. They prob just sprayed WD40 on it!!
