it's not that hard to do brendy

I'm still thinking about 'a' lefty - and find driving a leftie just as easy

then driving on the continent in the rightie is not that hard either - just need to have a quick car to make the most of a gap

ive driven in spain in a spanish ford before, its like fancying carol smilie, shes doable but you know theres something not quite right about it! haha

what i found worst was getting in and out of the car, kept whacking my knee then when driving trying to keep out of the gutter, then sorted that and started getting friendly with the centre markings.

drivers over there are mental, this fella was moving house...literally!

Love the idea of the 4x4 leon. Shame they never made a UK version. Always wondered if you could disconect the front drive and make it RWD. That could be some fun. 225bhp and RWD. :)

I prefer driving abroad, but it never feels right climing behind the wheel on the left and using the gear lever with your right hand.

dont think u can , it would prob throw a wobbly , you can buy uprated haldex controllers tho for the haldex1 systems ( such as the leon) which gives sharper torque transfer to the rear and more rear bias ,

Nothing wrong with driving a left hook. Personally i think it's more natural for a a right handed person. Right hand drive is an engineering comprimise.

driven a lefty and certain things about it i like. other bits i really dont.
Cant put me finger on it though, i drive mainly with one hand so for me being on the right... is right..lol

Having Lived in spain that pic looks like a morocan, they are nown for loading there housing in to the car and drive back at the end of the summer. anyway, as for importing a car into the UK, you will need to pay import duty on the it. To import it in to the uk for UK plates is a bit of a nightmare, as the car need to be legally in your name before leaving the country of origin. german is the easiest country to do it from, as they have export plate. The DVLA website tells you how to do it.

that pic was taken when we were driving from benalmedina to almeria to look at the harbour (possible place for the inlaws new boat but they decided against it) it was all over the road and was holding a queue of us up for a good 15 minutes.
