You get that done at Miller and Middleton? Pretty sure I never got charged anywhere near £46 for oil in my old Ibiza.

All sorted - dealership "computer" mistake and £16 refunded!

It wasn't Miller and Middleton - I didn't apreciate the customer service and attitude from one of their service related managers, so don't give them any of my hard earned. That said, it doesn't appear to be a common complaint though.

Ah ok. Where did you go just out of interest? I never had any problems with Miller and Middleton and they were pretty mod friendly in that they never said anything about the mods on my car.

I have to say that the customer service wasn't quite the same after the old server manager (Ray) died though. :(

Only two engines so far need to have 506.01 oil
BPX & BUK are both 160hp

150hp still OK on the 505.01 PD oil

It was the place in Braintree called Johnson (used to be the Toyota dealer near Freeport). I have to say the customer service was excellent and they saved me some cash by not fitting a new pollen filter (although at 20k you normally would) as the original was still clean. It seems like an honest mistake and there was no arguement over the refund or mistake made.

Ah ok. I tried getting some parts prices from them when they first switched to being a Seat dealer and they didn't have a clue. It seemed like nobody there knew how to get a part number, let alone a price, but maybe they've improved now.

local vw dealer was charging £50 for 5l of Pd oil (quantum)

has dropped in the last few weeks to about £29.00

I've used Millers XFE-PD in my motor for ages now. Good stuff and I get it for around £21 from a local Exeter based motor factors, called ALS. Good company for other bits like oil filters, where the need to buy VAG isn't a factor.

Should be fine as long as it's approved for the application they can't complain.
