not a chance the graph is so smooth so it makes 100ftlbs minimum all the way through which is lush right up to 7500RPM

but ill just stick another abf lump in it with half the mileage, as mines sprung a little oil leak!

Shouldn't be rev'n to 7500rpm either! The limiter is at 6800rpm!

I had to have it raised from 6800 to 7400 when I had the cams fitted!

Now it's 8400rpm lmao.... Got to love bodies!
 
how has this turned into a 8v vs 16v ?
were there more 8vs maid as there seems to be way more of them for sale etc ?

quiet ealily more made or less run into the ground as from what i can make out the 16v are more of a pain in the ass than the 8vs

Kezz.. 16 (supposedly) 150 out of the box.. where-As 8's are (supposedly) 115.. its nice to have it this close between a 16 and some of our 8's ;)

yea i know that bit but many of the 8vs seem to be getting better than that nowerdays anyway , tbh i would compleatley :censored: my self if mine went on the rollers i dont think i could watch :lol:

it's not that bad...do you think twice about red-lining it in 2nd/3rd gear on road?
power runs on dyno's are usually done in 4th with a 5sp box, sometimes 3rd
 
I couldnt watch when mine was up at P Torque.. i walked away and listened for the bang/silence..
i was more than happy with the figures considering its only really had the oil changed and the Mk3 backbox.. if it gets throuh MOT next month relatively cheaply, it'll get treated to a full service and new brakes etc then it can wear its new booties with a smile :D
and I might even get it RR'd again just to see if theres any difference
